Welcome to Room 5
Welcome to Term One of 2012! I hope you all had a great holiday and are excited to get back into learning. I am Mrs Surrey and I am teaching Room 5 for four days a week and then Mrs Sanileva is here every Friday.
The classroom is open from 8.30 am and you are welcome to come into the classroom at this time with your child. On arrival please encourage your child to get ready for learning by hanging his/her school bag on a hook outside and placing his/her book bag in the basket. Your child can go outside to play or choose an activity in the classroom until the 8.50am bell rings for line up.
School starts at 8.50am and finishes at 3.00pm.
We begin with a whole school assembly on the concrete area by the steps. At the end of the day you are asked to wait at the front of the school by our lovely Mary Garden. When the bell rings at 3.00pm the children will at the covered area in front of school waiting for you to collect them. Children who are not collected at this time will be taken to our After School Care providers and parents will be charged accordingly.
Please use the Primary School Carpark when bringing and collecting your child to and from school. For safety reasons we also ask that you do not walk through the parked cars. When moving to and from your car please walk your child along the footpath and use the crossing near Fr. Ezio’s house.
